It was a beautiful transfer meeting. We heard final testimonies from four of the senior missionaries that left the mission July 4th, and six Elders. Two of the Elders are leaving the end of July. We had a piano organ duet of Battle Hymn of the Republic performed. AWESOME. Also five missionaries sang the EFY version of Sisters in Zion, and a quartet of Spanish Elders concluded with I Need Thee Every Hour sang in both English and Spanish. It was absolutely beautiful. The missionaries left each of us with the example of how to truly be a successful missionary, it is a missionary that has been obedient to the standard of being a missionary, and diligently working each day to do what is asked.
Some of the feelings that were expressed were; Jacob, "Oh Be Wise" "Obedience is the price."
'God, I'm down here on my knees, it's the last place to fall." "Being obedient is the least we can do." "Some blessings come soon, some come late, some don't come until Heaven." "Live the Gospel, don't just say that it is true." "Earn your Mission."
