I received this note from a member in Cody's previous area. She's a wonderful person and took good care of Cody while he was there. I can't wait to meet her when we go to Washington to see where Elder Jones served. It touched my heart so I thought I'd share with you.
"Just wanted to let you know that we really miss Cody. These missionaries are just not the same. We hope he is doing well. School is finally out here and now it is time to play. We are headed to Provo on Friday for a family reunion. My kids can hardly wait. The drive is long but it should be fun. We are leaving my husband (He has to work until Wednesday and will fly in next Thursday morning) and adding one of the YW from our ward. My kids have been dragged around the country since they were born and are great travelers. My hubby is from Texas so we have had many long, long drives. Lucky for us - all of our family members now live in Utah (Provo area) or on the way to Utah in Idaho. We get together about once a year to visit and play. I hope that you are enjoying the summer and getting the chance to visit with your family."
