:: P-Day::
On Cody's P-Day him and his companion went and played some sports with other missionaries. Then they went to the mall and had a buffet lunch. Cody and his companion got a washer and dryer in their apartment. The washer was broken so they had to fix it. Made for a busy day! I teased Cody a little about getting his missionary drivers license. I told him that I will be careful walking on the sidewalks. He said that I might be safer in the road. He told me that one Missionary has actually driven on the sidewalk. I said when I go on vacation I'll make sure that I stay away from Washington then. :) Him and his companion are getting along really well together. He's very happy serving the Lord. They're working really well together. They were discussing how they might better help their investigators and inactives. Cody is very happy being a missionary. It's hard work but he's enjoying it. He said that they believe they are understanding what their investigators and inactives need more now and have a course of action on how to help them better. Cody's reading the Bible right now. Im on Ether and Numbers now just reading right along. Cody said he might actually finish the bible this year. The rules of their Mission are becoming more strict but he likes it better that way. He thinks he's too serious alot of the time and he wants to work at that. It's good that he has a goal to work on. He also wants to work on being more outgoing. This is what Cody said about one of the families that he's working with. "The Holbrook Family is a great part member Family. Clifford is a really good joker and has so many stories and Christie is way strong in the Gospel. If only you could hear their stories. Cody sent a riddle. What plant has all the colors of the rainbow and what animal has the most colors? (Now I'll go crazy thinking about it all week). Stay happy!!" I'm so pleased that he is having these experiences. These next two years are going to be years that define him. He's already such a wonderful Young Man, I can't imagine how great he will be when he returns. He's already so bright, caring, faithful, hard worker, obedient and has a high degree of integrity. Life is good for him. I miss him a lot, but am thankful that he's happy and is being a faithful servant of the Lord. He's receiving many blessings from his diligence and so am I. An adult missionary in that area told me what a wonderful Missionary is and I have to agree. Cody loves and is so thankful for all of you supporting him.
