During the Central Zone Conference there was a training on working and supporting the Bishops. Sister Weaver did a Preach my Gospel training. The Mission has been doing MARCH MADNESS, MISSIONARY STYLE. Each week there are specific PMG assignments. Missionaries email their assignments in to President and Sister Weaver. It involves one liners and scripture study. Each line of preach my gospel has such a message of its own. Each week Missionaries can qualify to move on the next week.
Some of the one liners that have been sent by the missionaries:
The Book of Mormon, combined with the Spirit is your most powerful resource in conversion.
Call upon the Lord. He has extended the invitation. He will answer.
You receive the Spirit through the prayer of Faith.
Your confidence should be in the Lord, not in yourself.
Through goals, our plans and hopes are transformed into action.
When the spirit touches the heart, hearts are changed.
President and Sister Weaver invited the mission and would love to invite you to have a 30 day fast with us. The fast is choosing something through prayer in your life that distracts from the Spirit, or something that you feel you need to do to have the Holy Ghost more readily as our companion. For the next 30 days we are going to try to do these things personally. We also are doing a physical fast by district. One district will be fasting each day for the next 30 days. On Monday, April 1st we are beginning. President and Sister Weaver are starting the physical part of the fast, the districts will follow. We each individually are going to begin our personal goals. We will conclude our fast at the Seattle Temple the end of the month. Our goal is to prepare for Conference, and to be in the Temple. We are fasting that we might each be a better missionary, and that the Holy Ghost will be our constant companion. We also are fasting for those that we are teaching that they will feel of the Spirit and have the courage to be baptized. We believe we will have spiritual experiences each day.
