:: Challenge ::

My Mission is going quite well. I don't know if this is a bad thing or not but I am trying to have my companion make more decisions. He keeps saying he doesn't care though either one way or the other. But you have to care and pray for Heavenly Father to guide you. With Faith and Gods help you do care and head in the right direction. I am definitely enjoying this area still. The sad thing is after almost two years of being a Missionary and I still struggle talking. I've always struggled until I know someone real well. I've improved, but still need to improve more, especially during this transfer. All the things in life that are hard are there for a purpose so I am doing great. Washington is starting its rain again. Willy came to church and his parents finally came to church last Sunday. I appreciate your challenge, it will help me be more bold. I really like Katie's parents and am glad they like us too. I love visiting them, sharing scriptures and most of all providing service. Sorry you are so bored lately. The six weeks is literally a transfer, that's funny. But you'll be healed and we'll be able to hike and walk a lot when you pick me up. You don't need to be afraid of your future surgeries. All your past surgeries have been good so this one will be good too. Does Molly still expect you to carry her everywhere? What is the new hottest day of summer? Is being a wedding decorator a lot of fun? You do a really good job at it. I'm glad you can help church members and family with your talent. I am not very good at getting new investigators (but I'm working on it)so we only got two new people lately. The Kunchik Family was referred to us by a companion that is now home. They are a part member Family that likes having us over but they are a quieter Family. Brittany had a really spiritual experience once at another church and really wants to go back to church but is a little afraid of going. Had a pretty good day on Dad's birthday. I was tired all day though. One third of our Mission got together and had a great Spiritual meeting. I am actually doing good and I should have everything I need. If you could get me a journal I would really appreciate it. I have a lot to write about. I want whoever reads it in the future to know God sends Miracles. I want myself to remember that even though I may not be the strongest Missionary, it's a hundred times better than giving up. I also need to put my transfer meeting notes in my journal. I need to let everyone know how sweet and how great of a GIFT Repentance is. Repentance is not bondage nor a coincidence but it is a gift. I love you so much mom and appreciate everything you do for me. I'm really looking forward to you picking me up! I continually wish I could express my feelings of gratitude for the privilege of serving. I am grateful for the blessing of being a disciple of Jesus Christ. There was a period of time I wondered if I had the courage to serve full time. It truly is a privilege, a blessing to be apart of this great service. I love lighthouses. This mission has many beautiful lighthouses. I have come to understand even more clearly how important that light is as it guides the many ships and boats in this area. It is that same light, the light of our Savior that guides and blesses each of us. The light of our Savior is shining brightly in the eyes, my attitude, and my heart. I feel of His love. Each year the Mission has taken the opportunity to read the Book of Mormon as a mission. We have come to feel of His love more deeply and see miracles of His hand. As Preach my Gospel states, "The Book of Mormon, combined with the Spirit, is your most powerful resource in conversion." "Those who know little or nothing about the Savior will come to know Him by reading, pondering, and praying about the Book of Mormon." President Hinckley stated, "Those who have read the Book of Mormon prayerfully, be they rich or poor, schooled or unschooled, and have grown under its power. Without reservation I promise you that if you will prayerfully read the Book of Mormon, regardless of how many times you previously have read it, there will come into your hearts...the Spirit of the Lord. There will come a strengthened resolution to walk in obedience to his commandments, and there will come a stronger testimony of the living reality of the Son of God." I testify that these principles are true. I invite you as family and friends to read the Book of Mormon with our mission. Beginning today we are reading about 5 pages a day until our Christmas Celebration in December. But since I will be home by then, Mom and I will finish the Book of Mormon together on Christmas Eve. If you need a copy let me or my mom know and we'll get you one.
