:: First Baptism ::

I just realized how great the tree of life symbolism is. We had two Baptisms this week!!! I got to Baptize Shawn!!! Shawn is such a great guy. Our last lesson with Shawn so far he said he still didnt Trust us so we kept asking him to Pray and ask God to see who he could Trust. After keep talking to him he paused and said a Prayer in his mind. Then he said out loud "ok God I get it" and "God told me to Trust you four Missionaries and Brother Adams but I will only Trust you [five]" (he actually said four). He also received Revelation to have me Baptize him. That sunday he came to Church determined to sit in the middle of the Chapel. He also shook everyones hand on the way there. He had to leave twice from the Chapel but he kept coming back. He went for 20 minutes and the last class also and had to leave because he has MS for his back (a bad back). We had the Baptism set up for seven that night and he came early but had to walk around the stake center to get used to it. Then we walked outside to a picnic table near the Church. We (me and Brother Adams) talked to him for about an hour about a couple of bad experiences he had. One was at a hospital nearby and another was of about two times when people said they would Baptize Shawn and as he went underwater they were choking him. After talking to Shawn for about an hour he said he would still like to get Baptized. Then he got Baptized and he said that now he can see we are great people trying to help him and not hurt him.
